Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) graduate
Theo says AUT impressed him with its innovative and modern
approach. Hands-on learning through labs and clinics, and lecturers
with extensive professional experience were also highlights.
“The lecturers want you to succeed and do the best you can, and they
are continually upskilling and empowering you.”
Now working as a rotational physiotherapist, Theo loves being able to
make a meaningful change to his patients’ lives.
“The beauty of physiotherapy is that you get to add value to someone’s
life – whether it’s helping them move again after surgery or educating
them on ways to manage breathlessness due to a respiratory disease.
“My studies have given me a great baseline of knowledge, which
translates well into real-world situations. I’m glad how seamless the
transition was.”
